The Analytics page shows how your published posts have performed. You can see totals for views, reactions, and comments, compare platforms, and check the results for each post.

Publish at least one post to a connected channel first, because Analytics only reports on content that has gone out. If you haven’t, see Connecting Your Channels and Using the Calendar.

How to Get There

From the left-hand menu, click Publishing to expand it, then click Analytics.

What’s on the Page

The page is titled Post analytics, with the line “Lifetime results across all posts matching your filters.” It has these parts:

  • All platforms: a dropdown that limits the results to one platform.
  • All accounts: a dropdown that limits the results to one connected account.
  • Filters: a button for narrowing the posts further.
  • Reload analytics: refreshes the numbers on the page.
  • Summary cards: four totals at the top: Posts, Views, Reactions, and Comments.
  • Most viewed posts: a ranked list of your top posts by views.
  • Posts by platform: a chart showing how your posts are split across platforms.
  • Posts: a list with the results for each post.

Use All platforms and All accounts to choose which posts the page reports on. Click Filters to narrow the results further. Every number on the page changes to match what you pick. To see everything again, set the dropdowns back to All platforms and All accounts.

Read the Overview

The four summary cards add up the results for every post that matches your filters.

  • Posts: how many posts match your filters.
  • Views: total views across those posts.
  • Reactions: total reactions across those posts.
  • Comments: total comments across those posts.

Under each number, a short line says how many posts reported that figure. For example, “Reported by 1 of 2 posts” means only one of your two posts sent back data for that metric. The total only counts posts that reported, so it can look lower than you expect.

Below the cards, Most viewed posts ranks your posts by views, with the post title, the platform, and the number of views. Ranking is based on lifetime views across all matching posts, including posts on other pages. Changing how the list below is sorted doesn’t change this ranking. Posts by platform shows a chart with the total number of posts in the middle, and the count and percentage for each platform beside it.

Step 3: Review Each Post

The Posts list shows one card for every post on every platform it went to. If the same content went to Facebook and Instagram, it appears twice, once for each. Each card shows:

  • The platform and the account name
  • A status tag, such as Partial or Connected
  • The post’s title
  • The post’s results: for example, reactions or likes, comments, shares, views, and reach

Analytics shows you which posts and platforms are working. Check it regularly to see what your audience responds to, then use that to plan what goes on your calendar next.
