The Talking Reel workflow generates a short video where your Digital Twin appears on screen and speaks, combining your image, voice, and script into one video.
How to Get There
From Content Workflows, select Talking Reel.
Step 1: Give It an Input
Add a topic, post idea, news, insight, article, or content snippet, or click Ideas +.
Step 2: Choose Fast Mode or Review First
- Fast Mode: generates the reel in one pass.
- Review First: pauses for your review along the way.
Step 3: Add Brand Context (on by default)
With Add Brand Context toggled on, the script pulls from the brand details you already set up in Brand Settings:
- Brand Name
- Niche
- Target Audience
- Offer of Transformation
- Credentials & Additional Info
This is why these fields already show information they're pulling from the brand setup covered in Getting Started with MarketingBlocks. You can edit any field just for this reel using the pencil icon.
Step 4: Optional Product & Offers
Toggle on to reference a specific product or offer in the reel.
Step 5: Choose B-Roll Media Type
Use the dropdown (e.g. All Image) to set what kind of supporting B-roll footage appears alongside the talking segments.
Step 6: Choose an Image Style
Pick from Realistic, Cinematic, Anime, 3D Cartoon, Comic Book, Pop Art, Fantasy Art, Vector Portrait, or click Show more styles for more options.
Step 7: Set Brand Color
Toggle on and choose a color, or enter a custom hex code.
Step 8: Add Background Music (optional)
Click Add Music to select a track, or leave as "No music selected."
Step 9: Use My Image (Digital Twin)
Toggle on and select which image clone to use the one you created in Digital Twin setup so your own face appears on screen.
Step 10: Select a Voice
Choose the voice clone to use (shown here as your saved voice, e.g. "Sarah female English"), or click Select Voice to pick a different one.
Step 11: Select an Avatar
Click Select Avatar to choose the avatar that represents you on screen for this reel.
Both your voice and avatar come from the Digital Twin setup if you haven't created a voice clone or avatar yet, these will be empty. Head to Digital Twin to set them up first.
Step 12: Optional Writing Style
Toggle on to apply your saved writing style to the script/caption.
Step 13: Generate
Click Generate. Because this involves video and voice, generation happens in stages; expect it to take a few minutes longer than an image post.
Step 14: Review and Publish
Once generated, your reel plays back with standard video controls. Use Publish, Rewrite, or More to finalize; see Rewriting, Repurposing & Editing Generated Content for the full options.
