Integrations is where you connect your social accounts and advertising accounts to MarketingBlocks. Your connected channels are the accounts your content publishes to, and the page also shows the accounts you’ve linked for advertising.

You’ll need to be logged in to your workspace, and to have admin access to the accounts you want to connect. This page is also where the articles on Posting Times, Auto Comment & DM, and Analytics expect your channels to be connected.

How to Get There

From the left-hand menu, click Settings to expand it, then click Integrations.

What’s on the Page

The page has two main sections:

  • Publishing channels: the social accounts connected to your workspace, shown as cards. Refresh reloads the list, and Add channels connects a new one.
  • Advertising accounts: the ad accounts linked to your workspace. The line under the heading says “Connecting an account does not start an ad.” It has a Meta section and a TikTok for Business section.

Step 1: Add a Channel

  1. Click Add channels. A window called Add channel opens.
  2. Choose a platform: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, TikTok Business, Threads, or Email. A tick marks your choice.
  3. Read the connection note below the list. For Facebook, it reads “Connect Facebook: Facebook Pages you manage.”
  4. Under Optional permissions, turn each switch on or off:
  • Comment automation: lets MarketingBlocks manage comments and replies, including private replies. Turn this on if you want to use Auto Comment & DM.
  • Post analytics: lets MarketingBlocks read post performance. Video metrics need engagement access. Turn this on if you want results to show on the Analytics page.
  1. Click the Connect button at the bottom, such as Connect Facebook. You’ll be taken to the platform to log in and approve access.
  2. Return to MarketingBlocks and click Refresh if your new channel doesn’t appear straight away.

To leave without connecting anything, click Cancel or the X at the top right of the window.

Step 2: Manage Your Channels

Each connected channel appears as a card under Publishing channels. A card shows:

  • The account name, its picture, and the account type, such as Facebook Page or Instagram professional
  • The account’s ID, with a copy icon beside it
  • A status note about account approval and live publishing. For example, “Account approval and live publishing have not been verified.”
  • A status tag, such as Enabled
  • A Posting times link, which opens the schedule for that channel

Step 3: Connect Your Advertising Accounts

Scroll down to Advertising accounts. Connecting an account here does not start an ad. It only links the account to your workspace.

Meta. This section covers Facebook and Instagram ads. Once Facebook is connected, it shows “Facebook connected. Select ad accounts.”

  • Click Select ad accounts to choose which ad accounts to save.
  • Click Update permissions to change the access you’ve given.
  • Saved accounts lists the ad accounts you’ve saved, with a count beside it. Until you select one, it shows “No saved Meta ad accounts.”

TikTok for Business. This section covers TikTok advertising. It shows “Paid launches unavailable.”

  • Click Connect TikTok to link your TikTok advertiser account.
  • Saved advertisers lists the advertisers you’ve saved, with a count beside it. Until you connect one, it shows “No saved TikTok advertisers.”

Why This Matters

Your channels are where your content goes out and where your audience responds. Connect them once, and your posting times, automations, and analytics all work from the same accounts.
