Before you start creating content with MarketingBlocks, you need to give it a clear understanding of who you are, what you do, who you serve, and how you want your brand to look and sound.
Your Brand Settings act as the foundation for the rest of MarketingBlocks. The information you provide here can be used across content workflows, campaigns, AI-generated media, and other features to keep your marketing consistent.
To set up your brand, open Brand Settings. You'll find three main sections:
- Brand Info
- Brand Styling & Digital Twin Defaults
- Brand Preferences
Let's walk through each one from top to bottom.
Step 1: Brand Info
The Brand Info section tells MarketingBlocks the fundamentals of your business or personal brand.
- Brand URL: Enter your website address in the Brand URL field. If you have a website, you can click Scan My Website after entering the URL. MarketingBlocks can use information from your website to help understand your brand. If you don't have a website, you can leave this field blank and enter your brand information manually.
- Your Name or Brand Name: Enter the name you want MarketingBlocks to use when creating content for you. This can be your personal name, company name, business name, or brand name.
- Who You Are: Describe what you do and the area you specialize in. Keep this focused on the main areas your brand is known for. This helps MarketingBlocks understand your positioning and create content that is relevant to your expertise.
- Who You Serve: Describe your target audience. Include the type of people you want your products, services, and content to reach. You can include relevant characteristics such as their profession, interests, goals, or stage of development. A clearly defined audience helps MarketingBlocks create content that speaks to the right people.
- The Change You Create: Explain the transformation your brand provides. Focus on what becomes better for your audience because of your products, services, expertise, or resources. This gives MarketingBlocks context about the value your brand provides rather than simply knowing what you offer.
- Why People Believe You: Use this field to explain the experience, expertise, results, credentials, or other factors that establish your credibility. This information helps MarketingBlocks create content that communicates authority and builds trust with your audience.
- Additional Info: Use Additional Info to provide any other information MarketingBlocks should know about your brand. You can include additional context about your business, positioning, services, offers, messaging, or anything else that would help MarketingBlocks better understand your brand.
Step 2: Brand Styling & Digital Twin Defaults
This section contains two types of settings: your Brand Styling and the Digital Twin Defaults used by MarketingBlocks when creating content.
- Brand Color: Choose the primary color you want MarketingBlocks to use for your brand. You can select a color from the available options or enter a specific color value if you already have an established brand color.
- Brand Font: Select the font you want MarketingBlocks to use for your brand content. Using a consistent font helps maintain a recognizable visual identity across your content.
Digital Twin Defaults
The Digital Twin Defaults section lets you choose which Digital Twin assets MarketingBlocks should use by default when creating content. These settings do not create the Digital Twin assets themselves. Instead, they allow you to select the assets you have already created in Digital Twin.
- Writing Style: Select the writing style MarketingBlocks should use by default when generating content. Your writing style determines how your content sounds and helps maintain a consistent brand voice. Writing styles are created and managed in Digital Twin.
- Image Clone: Select the Image Clone you want MarketingBlocks to use by default for supported visual content. Your Image Clone provides a digital representation of you for supported AI-generated content. Image Clones are created and managed in Digital Twin.
- Video Clone: Select the Video Clone you want MarketingBlocks to use by default for supported AI-generated video content. Your Video Clone provides the digital representation used when creating video content featuring you. Video Clones are created and managed in Digital Twin.
- Voice Clone: Select the Voice Clone you want MarketingBlocks to use by default for supported voice and video content. Your Voice Clone provides the voice used to represent you in supported AI-generated content. Voice Clones are created and managed in Digital Twin.
Note: You can create and manage your Writing Style, Image Clone, Video Clone, and Voice Clone in Digital Twin. The settings here simply let you choose which existing assets MarketingBlocks should use as your defaults.
Step 3: Brand Preferences
The Brand Preferences section contains additional defaults that affect how MarketingBlocks creates and schedules content.
Default Timezone: Select your brand's default timezone. This setting determines how scheduled content times are interpreted. Choose the timezone you normally use for your business or content scheduling.
Step 4: Post Type Customization
MarketingBlocks allows you to configure default settings for different types of content. These settings are used when an individual post does not have its own specific configuration.
Carousel Settings: The Carousel Settings section controls the default appearance of your carousel content.
Profile Image: Choose the profile image that should appear on your carousel slides.
Theme: Select the default theme for your carousel designs.
Background Pattern: Choose the default background pattern for your carousel designs. These settings allow you to maintain a consistent carousel style without configuring every carousel individually.
Step 5: B-Roll & Talking Reel Settings
The B-Roll & Talking Reel Settings section controls the default settings used when creating reels and related video content.
AI Image Style: Select the visual style MarketingBlocks should use when generating AI images. Choose a style that fits your brand's visual identity.
Default Reel Background: Choose the default background used for your reels. You can use the available background or replace it with a background that better matches your brand.
B-Roll Media Type: Choose the type of media MarketingBlocks should use for B-roll sections. This determines the type of supporting visual content used in your reels.
AI Video Recording: Choose who presents your AI video content.
The available options include:
- Human - use your own recorded or uploaded footage.
- AI Clone - use an AI-generated version of you.
Interviewer: If you create interview-style content, configure the default interviewer settings.
You can select the:
- Default interviewer gender
- Default interviewer voice
Background Music: Choose the default background music for your reels and B-roll content. You can also adjust the music volume to control how prominent the music is in the final content.
Step 6: Reel & Reel Styling
The Reel & Reel Styling settings control the appearance of text and other visual elements used in your reels.
You can customize settings such as:
- Reel caption text fill color
- Reel caption text stroke color
- Reel caption effects
- Reel caption effects color
- B-roll text color
- B-roll text background
- Text stroke color
- B-roll font type

Use these settings to keep your reels visually consistent with your overall brand.
Step 7: Save Your Brand Settings
Once you have completed your brand information, styling, Digital Twin defaults, and preferences, select Save Settings. Your saved settings become the foundation MarketingBlocks can use when creating content for your brand.
You don't need to configure every available option before you can start using MarketingBlocks. You can set up the core information first and refine your visual assets and content preferences later.
