Account settings is where you manage your personal profile, your sign-in security, and the notifications you receive. These settings belong to you and apply to your login, separate from your workspace settings.
You need to be logged in to MarketingBlocks. If you haven’t logged in yet, see How to Access Your Account on MarketingBlocks V5.
How to Get There
At the bottom of the left-hand menu, click your name to open the account menu. Then click Account settings.
The same menu also has Billing & credits, API & MCP, and Sign out.

What’s on the Page
The page is titled Account, under the heading Personal settings, with the line “Manage your profile, sign-in security, and notifications.” It has three tabs:
- Profile: your name, photo, email addresses, and other ways to sign in.
- Security: your password, two-step verification, signed-in devices, and account deletion.
- Notifications: which updates you receive, and where.

Step 1: Update Your Profile
Open the Profile tab. It has three sections.
Your profile. This shows your photo, name, and email address. To change your details:
- Click Edit profile. A window called Update profile opens.
- To change your photo, click Upload photo and choose a square image. The maximum size is 10 MB.
- Edit your First name and Last name.
- Click Save changes. To leave without saving, click Cancel.
Email addresses. This lists the addresses you can use to sign in. Your main address carries the Primary tag. Click Add email address to add another one.
Connected accounts. This shows other ways to access your account. If you haven’t linked any, it reads “No sign-in accounts connected.

Step 2: Secure Your Account
Open the Security tab. It has four sections.
Password. Use a strong password to protect your account. The section shows Password added once you have one. Click Update password to change it.
Two-step verification. This adds another layer of protection when you sign in. It has two parts:
- Authenticator application: shows Not set up until you add one. Click Add authenticator to link an authenticator app.
- Backup codes: shows Not generated until you create them. Save your backup codes so you can still sign in if you lose your authenticator.
Active devices. This lets you review where your account is signed in. Each device shows its type, when it was last active, and a This device tag on the one you’re using. Click Show details to see more.
Delete account. Click Delete account to permanently remove your account and access. This cannot be undone.
Step 3: Choose Your Notifications
Open the Notifications tab. The heading Notification preferences shows which workspace the settings are for and the email address that receives emails.
The table has two columns, In-app and Email. Tick a box to receive that type of update in that place. You can choose for each of these:
- Needs your input: writing and media to review, and recordings to finish.
- Completed work: completed work and digital-twin results. Chat replies appear in chat, and email can also include replies.
- Publishing updates: content scheduled or successfully published.
- Errors & interruptions: failed jobs and work that needs your attention to continue.
When you’re done, click Save preferences. The button stays grey until you make a change. Your changes apply to future updates and emails still waiting to send. Items already in your inbox stay available.
Click Open inbox at the top right to read your notifications.
At the bottom of the page, Notification history explains how long notifications stay. Read notifications stay for 90 days. Unread items stay until you read or delete them.

Good to Know
- Turn on two-step verification. It protects your account if your password is ever exposed.
- Save your backup codes. Keep them somewhere safe, since they let you back in if you lose your authenticator.
- Check your active devices. If you see a device you don’t recognize, update your password right away.
- Notifications are set per workspace. The heading shows which workspace you’re editing, so check it if you manage more than one.
- Keep email on for errors. In-app alerts are only seen when you’re logged in, so tick Email for Errors & interruptions if you want to hear about problems straight away.
Why This Matters
Your account settings keep your login safe and make sure you hear about the things that need you, such as content to review or a post that failed to publish. Set them once and check them now and then.
