Posting times are the weekly slots when MarketingBlocks publishes your content. You set them for each connected channel, so every account can post on its own schedule.

Connect a channel first, because posting times belong to a channel. If you haven’t, see Connecting Your Channels.

How to Get There

From the left-hand menu, click Publishing to expand it, then click Posting Times. You can also open it from the Posting Times link on a channel’s card on the Channels page.

What’s on the Page

The page is titled Posting schedule, with the line “Set weekly posting times for each connected channel.” It has these parts:

  • Default timezone: the time zone your times are set in.
  • Channel: the account you’re setting times for.
  • Active slots: a line under the channel’s name shows how many posting slots are active per week (for example, “0 active slots per week”).
  • Posting Schedule: a button that fills the week for you with a preset.
  • Clear all: removes the times.
  • Weekly grid: a column for each day, Sunday to Saturday, each with an On/Off switch and its posting times.
  • Add new posting time: a form for adding one time at a time.

Step 1: Choose Your Timezone

Use the Default timezone dropdown to choose the time zone your posting times follow.

Step 2: Choose a Channel

Use the Channel dropdown to pick the account you want to set times for. It shows the account name and platform. The heading below it changes to match, for example “Business School’s posting schedule.”

Step 3: Fill the Week With a Preset (optional)

The quickest way to start is a preset. Click Posting Schedule. A window opens that says “Choose a frequency to fill the week.” You can still change any day afterwards.

  1. Under Apply to, choose which channels to apply it to. The default is All connected channels.
  2. Choose a preset:
  • Starter: once daily per channel, at 7:00 AM.
  • 2x Daily: twice daily per channel, at 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM.
  • Growth: three times daily per channel, at 7:00 AM, 11:00 AM, and 5:00 PM.
  • Scale: ten times daily per channel

A preset replaces the slots in the channels you chose. Nothing changes until you save.

Step 4: Turn Days On or Off

Each day in the grid has an On/Off switch. When a day is off, it shows Day paused, and MarketingBlocks doesn’t publish on that day. Turn the switch on to use the day again. Paused days keep their slots, so your times are still there when you turn the day back on.

Step 5: Add or Remove a Single Time

To add a time, use Add new posting time:

  1. Day: choose a day, or choose Every day.
  2. Hour: choose the hour.
  3. Minute: choose the minute.
  4. AM / PM: choose AM or PM.
  5. Click Add posting time.

To remove a time, click the X beside it in the grid. To remove all of them, click Clear all.

Step 6: Save Your Schedule

When you change anything, the page shows Unsaved changes at the top and “You have unsaved changes” at the bottom. You have these options:

  • Click Save changes (top) or Save posting schedule (bottom) to apply your changes.
  • Click Discard to throw the changes away.

Saving applies the new times to posts that are waiting in the queue. Posts that are already scheduled keep their original times.

Why This Matters

Your posting times decide when your content goes out, so you don’t have to pick a time for every post yourself. Set them once, then change them as your plans change.
